So I am thinking about buying a pair of 2011 Hellbents, but had a few questions. I know they are a pretty heavy ski, but does that affect swing weight that much? For those who have skied them, is spinning and buttering alright or do you have to swing pretty hard? I ski mostly Squaw Valley, so I get a moderate amount of powder if it hasnt been poached yet-- so how do the hellbents do on crud? Do they tend to hook and get bucked around on the bumps?
Im 5'10 130ish pounds- so I'm thinking about 179, that about right? could I push 189?
I skied all last season on 185 JJ's (had to sell them for textbook money) but am looking for a slightly more playful ski, but not too soft.
