Marker Schizo .. yes or no?

should i go and spend the extra couple of bucks to get the schizo, is it reliable and durable

There have been tons of threads on this if you search. But, the conclusion that I came to was that a) The griffon schizo isn't quite as durable as the jester schizo. b) Only buy last year's model or newer. They added a new hook or metal piece that helped with the problem of the binding shifting mid-run. So, if you are going to spend the money for the feature of versatility, spend the full amount and get some Jester schizos from '10/'11 or '11/'12. Hope that helps, but again it is just my opinion.

Personally I think it's a great idea and definitely innovative but hearing about all the track derailments of past etc, I wouldn't ride em. Plus they are noticeably heavier in your hand. Whether or not that translates to your foot I'm not sure. To me it's just one more thing to go wrong. Great idea though.
