Ok, well last season i was using some 15 year old rossignol skis with the pointed tip, they were 167's and i managed to get used to them within a few hours. I was thinking of getting these

but i wasn't sure if 177 would be excessively long, I'm about 172cm without my boots on and about 145lbs. I would probably say i ski 90 on piste and 10 off, but i'm seriously wanting to start doing park a LOT, and off piste jumps etc. apparently the effective edge of these skis is 154cm.
