I'm trying to decide which to get. I'm a total park rat. Which do you think is better and why? Keep in mind that i'm a east coast skier. Thanks for your opinions. Go!
Yeah, your gonna want to avoid surface park skis. They are sick but have terrible durability. I know this from firsthand experience with nine lifes, and would guess their current offering is not to much better.
Double times however, seem to hold up pretty nicely, but still I would go with line of over surface.
INB4 eheath calling me a stupid kid.
That's just the Nine Lifes though. A problem that they have since fixed and improved. They've revamped everything this year, made everything more durable. Double Times are beefier, and the No Times are going to be right up there with them.
You kids need to stop judging companies on what they were like a couple seasons ago.
On a different note. If you can find some Anthems, go for them. I was on them last winter, and although they were dead, they were still an amazingly fun ski. A little soft for my taste. But that's it.
This season, I'm getting some Double Times. I really liked the waist of the Anthems in the park compared to my old AR6s. Much more stable.
Look into the Double Times as well, same idea with a fatter waist, slight rise in tip and tail, and from what I've heard, a very solid flex.
Can't wait.
