i stayed at powder ridge next to wildcat during february break and it was all open.. it was sick too.. i cant think of any of the trail names now but the trail behind powder ridge (when you get off wildcat chairlift go right and then keep pushing left) was such hard tree-skiing

those baldy chutes are pretty fun. everyone heads over the alta side but you should try the snowbird side. I think it's called 'living the dream.' It's much easier to get to from the tram and doesn't seem to get tracked out as much.

The best is 'Dungeons', it is shall we say a secret zone. Seriously it took me weeks of skiing near it before I found it. When you do find it you will know, there is a small sign that says, 'Welcome to the Dungeons, Congratulations.' It is by far the steepest, most balls-to-the-wall place I have been.

Yeah we hiked from the parking lot to the top of baldy and did the main chute. But set off an avalacne from the top of baldy that was rediculousy huge and almost killed us. But then we got first turns down the chute with 3 feet of fresh. BUt west what the heck are you talking about the dungeons? Ive skied everywhere at alta the past 2 years and dont know what youre talking about..well im sure I know what youre talking about just never heard of that name. So what area are you talking about

Yeah I dont know ive skied there close to 200 days this last season but have never heard someon call any terrain 'the dungeon' Unless you mean like the backside of east castle which drops into the mineral basin drainage...I forget what thats caled but its something like that, its pretty sick too. Is that waht you mean, or is this place inbounds?

^Youre an idiot, dont be telling kids that dont know how the west works that. There are sooo many avalanches in the wasatch, the snow pack can be pretty unstable at times. I only skied the BC a bit last year and set off a rediculously large one which was stupid and a tiny other one. Inbounds youre fine but I woulndt just head into the BC with no beacon or knowledge of how to use it, its dangerous back there
