I know I posted something similar to this earlier but i can not find anything on the internet about working at PCMR, so im wondering if anyone as ever been an apprentice ski instructor at PCMR or even in the park city area? and whats the experience like, how do people tip, and is housing an option in PC really?
just trying to get the feel on whether or not the whole effort im going to be putting in to go out there to work and everything is worth the experience.....

I can't speak for PCMR specifically as far as working goes since I worked for DV, but as far as housing.... DV is the only resort in PC that offers employee housing. It's shitty but the location is good. Outside of that it's hit or miss- you can stumble across some pretty sick deals, but this time of year it gets dicey because almost all of the landlords are switching over to rape mode for the winter months. Keep your browser glued to the KSL classifieds, and keep in mind that a lot of people live in Heber City (just outside PC) to save $$. You can also live in Kimball Junction, Summit Park, etc that are all right nearby but not in downtown proper.

i did exactly what your trying to do in 2008 except at DV. It ruled, but yes you will work your ass off/miss powder days. Experience was great, and Ill be back in PC in 2 weeks for good. It was THAT worth it, atleast to me.
A stated before, rent is about to go through the roof and PC resort I dont believe has employee housing. Your going to want to figure that out quickly & have some saving already to the side.
