So I work in the bush as a labourer and i very seldomly get to shoot in the summer. I had a rain day the other day and went out and got some shots.

I like to think of it as a bit more artsy and thought provoking, but hey who am i too judge.

+K to sensible critiques

dont comment on the last title, i got lazy and dgaf about fixing it. also this is my first edit using premier.



Shot on a canon 7d with Nikkor 80-400 vr f4-5.6 and canon 15-85 efs f3.5-5.6

i liked it. song fit nicely. The end seemed a bit abrupt but if u added like two more shots to let the speech end it would be perfect.

I think the song was perfect. just wish it was longer. I was expecting the speech to continue and end in an epic statement but I really liked it. Colors were good too.

thanks for the good words guys! I was going to make it longer, the speech itself is 6 minutes long but i picked pieces out that i thought didnt need be in there. Basically I have always seen peoples vids get critiqued for being long so i kept it at 1:30 mark

Hopefully later in the season i will have enough scenics to do the whole speech and make it rad enough to not be boring for 6 mins!

I thought the time was perfect, maybe a little short, but that's good cause you definitely don't want the audience to get bored. Your shots were interesting, fall is always a good time to shoot. Good work with the panning and changing focus, like the leaves around 1:00. The raindrops were a good addition and the colors made me think of back home in new england. Also I like the saturation in the second shot, it's like an artsy walk in the woods with the blair witch project.
