I know there have to be lots of kids who work in shops who could just slap a couple of pairs of bindings on some old race skis and make it happen. It is pretty hilarious. Just a word of warning though, because I don't want anyone getting hurt doing this. Keep in mind that when you get on a lift, one of you will have to have one ski, but the other will have to be on the other ski. Since the skis are so long and the bindings are mounted on the front or back of the ski, it will have a lot of torque on the heel or toe piece when dangling from the lift. So, you want to have the din high enough that is doesn't fall off on accident. However, you definitely want it to release pretty easily if you somehow do fall. Two people on one set of skis and a fall without releasing = torn knee ligaments.
Anyone up for it. I know a lot of people won't be skiing for another two months, but this gives you time to find some old bindings and skis and get 'em ready :)
