Just got a promotion that bumps my pay up to where i am making as much as my parents...woohoo! So now i am gonna be an irresponsible 23 year old and buy some plane tickets and some skis tonight before bed.

I am 6'4" and 190-200lbs...ski in the sierras, and am looking at 3 skis only.

190 Bibby Pro

191 Billy Goats

195 AK JJ

I already have OG blends as my park/mellow cruising day ski, and the OG ARG is my super deep/foggy/pillow day ski.

I am looking for a ski that i will be able to ski 70% of the time, charge some burly lines in deep pow, shred some tight trees, and bomb through some crud 3 days after the storm. I love how surfy the ARG's are, and how they blast through crud, but they are frightening on icy groomers and are too short for me and the tips dive...especially on landings.

It should also be able to kill it in our longs spring off-piste season.

Ok normally I dont feel my advice means shit, but since I'm 6'5 190 lbs. and ski the Sierras all year too, I think it's extremely relevant this time around. Bought AK JJ's last night. Arrived this afternoon, Newport to Venice Beach, CA...cant ask for a better turn around from a ski company. JJ's all day dude, the most versatile there is. They finally made a pow ski big enough for bigger guys like us, gotta capitalize on that.
Second choice would definitely be the Bibby's

going to post here too. you just can't get enough of me i'm sure

190 bibby pro. such a dope ski. it's stiff, stable, but really fun. able to smear on the big faces and dance in the trees.

ak jj was too much and not enough all in one ski.

ive needed new skis for a while, and have almost pulled the trigger a couple of times with much less monetary backing. Also havent visited my best friends in a few months. so ima knock both of them out with one fell swoop.

And its a Civil Engineering job

I got the 190 bibbys (2012), they are pretty stiff, so will be good for your dimensions. Haven't ridden them yet but i'm sure you can't go wrong with them.

Im rolling up to seattle for halloween, getting swooped by one of my best friends and then going to go party in the tri shitties with our other best friend. I would love to stop by the factory but i thought it was in PDX?

Anyways, i will toast at least 1 round, and 1 line to the great guys at ON3P when i am up in the Great PNW in a few weeks.

Wow, and that means that I need to go to sleep, totally saw Portland instead of Seattle.

You should make the day trip down here if you have time, its not a bad drive, even if you're hung over. As the first order since our keg blew this afternoon (RIP Black Butte Porter), you need to give us a suggestion for the next one! Thanks dude!
