Foot Jibbing = Improved Skiing?

So I found the idiocy that is foot jibbing after last season(basically jumping around like I'm an asswipe while pretending I'm on rails) and I've started to wonder: could this possibly help my rail game? I can't help but think maybe, just maybe, this will help me get a feel for tricks without actually doing them (as far as the rotations go). I also pretend to pretzel, which has basically committed the motion to muscle memory (last season I sucked at it). What do you think?

Regardless, it's stupidly fun.

I do this all the time, do 180's down sets, 5 of things, k fed the curb. Idk if it helps, obviously everything is easier without skis/boots on, but I do think it helps with learning how to throw spins, like how to wind up/air awerness.

I wanted to make this thread but didnt want to sound stupid haha. Anyways I think it helps but if I do like a 360 I spin with my feet pushing helping me spin faster which you cant do on skis so I think it messes me up there but should help rail game.

Me and by buddy play snow on curbs and rails in the skate park all the time haha, we have gotten pretty damn good. And it does not really improve ur rail game a summer setup is what helps rail game a lot

It's so fun but all my friends just give me wierd looks, cause none of them ski. But it would be really awkward doing it by yourself.

at my highschool there was this really short handrail, and when it rained it became nice and slick and you could slide on it with sneakers, so my friends and i used to do that. good times.

I don't think it improve your skiing cause you would have to do that on real rail to improve your skill.I already tried that, jumping on down rail with ma shoes and do some k-fed and britanny but that's really really bad for your ankle so don't try that.

When it started getting cold, but snow hasn't fell yet my friends and I would ice down short skate rails and hit em in our shoes. So much fun.

all the time. me and my friends do this in the hallways and stuff at school. nose/tail tap 1'ing the garbage cans and stuff. people think we're crazy....

all the time, i have gotten sooo good

-i can 7 on flat ground
-630 out of a curb
-lip 4 onto a curb
-i sometimes jump or tap handrails in school
-jumped a whole 14set of stairs at school
-and gap smaller sets with a steezy grab on my way to classes
-cork 5 hand plants on ends of railings
-on door frames i grab the top and do a backflip

soaps were the best. in like 5th grade me and a few of my friends would grind all the playground equipment and bike racks and the teachers didn't understand how we were doing it.

I think it would help your balance, which you need on rails. Its fun and you look like a goon. One time i tried to 6 onto a ledge b4 a basketball game and sprained my ankle and couldn't walk for 2 days /claim

I am going to do this....

My school has like a 100-foot long double kink indoors, on a ramp from the high school to the career center. I'm going to grease it by the end of the year. The only trouble will be getting speed.

me and my friends use the wrestling room and just mess around

not exactly foot jibbing but we just try flips and corks off walls and stuff, theres tons of mats there so we just layer them and go for it haha
