Anyone else excited for this to release next week?

i'm running the GM version and i must say it is simply amazing i cant wait for the full version to be released and be able to use the cloud completely and perfectly, but at the moment it is running quite neatly, i get all of my music pushed to all my devices and the documents is awesome for school in case you loose something or the print comes out wrong.

what are you thoughts fellow iphone users?

Anyone else lose all their photos post update? I just went to pull a little switcheroo on my wallpaper, and all my old pics are gone!

it should have done a backup before it updated, my itunes pushed all music and photos back onto the phone right after the update.

first you go to setting, then sounds, all the way at the bottom you see vibration patterns. make some custom ones and save them. then leave settings and open up contacts, click the person you want to have a custom vibration and hit edit, scroll down til you see vibration.

both of my parents have an iphone and so do i. we all updated ours. problem is all of familys contacts are on all of our phones (i now have my mom and dads contacts and they have each others etc). Is this because of iCloud? we all updated using the same itunes account.

any suggestions?

is anybody elses music library on their phone completely fucked? I try to play a song and it'll play a different song in the library, none of the titles and songs match up on my phone

this is the reason i think. do you have 3 different backups for each phone? icloud also might be the cause of this.

So my iphone 4s comes in tmrw, a few questions tho... First how long does it usually take to sync it with iTunes and everything? Second, I should be able to transfer my contacts from my droid x to my iPhone i hope? Third, can you synch your phone contacts with facebook like on a droid?

first sync if you have alot of music. id say 10-15 mins. probably cant transfer from droid to iphone, no it doesnt sync contacts with fb.

I used to have a blackberry storm, and got an iphone last year. I was able to convert my contacts from my blackberry to my iphone, so I'd assume you would be able to with a droid. I don't know how you would do it with a PC, but with my blackberry I synced all of my contacts to my address book in my mac with the blackberry app, and then when I hooked my new iphone up everything went over. So it's really easy if you have a mac. But I bet if you just searched on google about how to do it it'd be pretty easy.

And when I synced my phone contacts, and got the facebook app everything automatically synced with facebook.

so now when i make my new itunes account will all the music/apps/movies be there? I have all my music and music purchases backed up on my external but what about the apps?

downloaded iOS5 and even though i transfered all my music to my iPhone4 when i try and play the music it shows that there is no music. when i go into settings its says there's music on my phone but when i go to the "music" function it says there's nothing.

nope, not on mine. I cant seem to find the I messanger app. I have the download and have all the updates but that. i registered for the account and everything but nothing is showing up. HELP?

Yup...it will be normal messenger when you text non-iphones, but it somehow recognizes if who you are texting has an iPhone and switches to imessenger

It says to try to download the firmware directly from apple's server instead of through iTunes, not sure if that would help

Mine is. I tried to sync 400 songs but only got 42 songs. It won't allow me to put music on my phone.
