So this past week I decided I want to be a writer and hopefully work my way to being a movie producer. I have my plan all set up and even my fall back but it made me think how things have changed. When I was a kid I wanted to be an archaeologist, you know discover a new species of T-rex or be an astronaut walk on the moon cool stuff like that.

What did you guys want to be when you were a kid and how have things changed?

Really? So when you guys were little kids none of you wanted to be like a fireman or an astronaut or any of that classic stuff? And nothing has changed for you guys?

when i was a little kid i always wanted to be a toy maker. i always saw toys of various substances like rubber, plastic, glass, etc, give adults so much pleasure and joy and i thought to myself, "you're never too old to have fun!" and i wanna make toys one day!

and then i realized those toys were dildos and they went in people's buttholes and baconstrips and i decided that i didn't want to make toys anymore.

i always wanted to be an explorer (yeah as a kid you dont realize that this is exactly a job) and kinda go to jungles and deserts and film/discover the animal life there. i really like animals, but only furry ones or birds, so this was really a good option.

then during my teenage years i wanted to be a programmer for video games. i laugh when i think at my lame attempts in word or outlook...

now, i want to either found a small company (i am a fucking bachelor in economics since kinda TODAY) when i am done with my master degree or work my way up to a legit management position.

although i DONT WANT to sacrifice love or freetime for that. money isnt all that important. i grew up in a average environment and realize that I DO HAVE FUCKING EVERYTHING I NEED. my dream would be running a small internet company (so i can work in the evening or morning and do some sports during the rest). not to get rich, i am realistic about that, but just enough to give me some flexibility.

I mean I guess I thought about that stuff when I was little, but I was diagnosed with diabetes when I was five and spent a week in the hospital, so after that I was convinced that I wanted to be a doctor because the ones that helped me out were awesome and pretty much my heroes at the time haha. Kinda cliche, but whatever. As I got older I realized that it was something I was actually really interested in, soo that's what I'm gonna do.

yeah i worked at a bakery for 3 years and it was an amazing job. but you have to work terrible hours and there really isn't much money in it..even at the higher levels. anyone who's in the baking business will tell you they do it purely for the love of producing quality baked goods.

Professional filmer, now in this day and age that isn't practical so now I'm in pre-law at CU and becoming a pilot as well. Pre-law is my back up plan if and when becoming a pilot has any set backs.

Gosh, I love baking. I bake for everyone...I guess it'd just be nice to know how to frost and decorate better. I have a friend I used to work with in Cali went to school for it and her work was beautiful.

in kindergarten i wanted to be a doctor, but that just isnt gonna happen now. Med school is way to hard to get into if you dont have a real high gpa.

then i wanted to be a pro hockey player. i was on track to play professionally (not at the NHL level) up until this year.

and then i thought about being a fireman, police officer, or going into the Marines.  right now i'm a finance major and i really dont know what i want to do with it. still debating being a fireman and joining the Marines.

Who knows, cause i sure dont! ha

3.6 is low to get into med school. Plus research experience, volunteer work, and a good MCAT score.
