i was actually checking this out recently... there are a lot of threads with good info, but dont use the NS searchbar, go to google and search appropriate things + site:newschoolers.com and youll get tons of results
I have dark greys on my Splices, and they are plenty dark, i use them only on like sunny/clear days. They are way cheaper too. So if money is a factor, i would reccomend the Dark Greys. Course, if you dont have a budget, Go with the polarized because well, theyre polarized.
grey polarized lenses are soooooooo nice, they arn't that dark but its never too bright for them, what i like about them is that it doesn't change the color of anything, just tints it a bit darker, it really helps disinguish the little things that you wouldn';t have been able to, say, if your goggles turned everything orange
