Armada JJ Flex / Rocker

Hey NS!

This is my first year finally getting a powder ski. I'm pretty sure I want the JJ. I was just wondering if someone could either post a photo of the JJ rocker or give me some specs. Also, I was wondering about the flex. On the Armada site it says the JJ has a similar flex to the Halo and I have felt the flex of the Halo. Can anyone confirm this or maybe even explain the flex pattern a little better for me?

Lots of rocker and pretty soft. Not the softest of soft but they're up there.

JJ is a 115 waisted 5 dimensional ski with mustache rocker. The turn radius is incredibly small, so they will feel very nimble and intuitive to turn, but could get hooky at high speeds. The flex starts out medium stiff (think line stepup flex) under the foot, and progressively gets softer on the ends, ending in a nice semi buttery, albeit snappy feeling tip (think Kung fujas flex in the tips/ slightly stiffer but not much in the tails). The rocker in the tips and tails is kinda high, but very short especially by today's standards. It just looks like a really really long tip. Overall, if you've had a chance to fondle the bent chetlers, the flex VERY similar, but ever so slightly stiffer throughout. The rocker shape is similar, but cheats have more rocker and less camber. If you're looking for a strictly Pow ski, I'd suggest something a tad wider, with a longer rocker (I.e chetlers, caylors, night trains). But if you're looking for an incredibly versatile ski that can kill it just about anywhere, look no further.

The rocker on the JJ is soft, but not too soft. They are slightly more rigid underfoot than at the tip and tail. This will give you good stability and stompability when landing jumps/cliffs. On the other hand the softer tips/tails really do keep the ski as butterable as possible.
