So, how was your summer?

After a long, and fairly dire summer of working every hour God sends so I can eat during grad school, I've happily returned to the NS fold.

If there's one thing an NS-less and generally entertainment-less summer is good for, its making you appreciate the coming winter. To that end, I'm probably more stoked for the new season than I've ever been in the past.

So, how were your summers NS?

NickyP my summer was great. I was on NS once a day and I am as hyped as ever, even more. Hoping to have a good season and good snow.

Miserable as always. I don't understand why I can't go to school en the summer, it would be awesome to have like February and March off instead..

im now in my second year as an apprentice as a forwarding agent. worked every day, got paid only about 2€ an hour... little skiing (indoor) little mx riding. alot of partys and drugs though. cant wait for snow.

Worked everyday too so I feel your pain, but now back at school with money to spend on hos and tricks, drink and drugs, so feels like it was time well spent.

Well, I worked 85 hours a week so it was pretty successful. Socially it could've been better but I'm in for a great winter

worked a shitload, got a ton of car stuff done- didnt really do too much as I was moving between houses, and my little brother was at boot camp all summer

terrible. snapped my radius and ulna. two surgeries later i thought i was ok. but no. of cource my bone just had to heal at a 40 degree angle. so now, 3 surgeries later, i am still in a cast, 4 months from when i broke it. My only hope it is 100 percent by skiing season!

Worked....way too much. But it's cool because this winter is going to be fucking awesome. Got all kinds of money saved up, I'm ready to send it. Lets go.
