So me and my dad bough a pair of new 183 TST's to share but his boot is 25mm longer than mine. We were thinking of getting a binding with an easily adjustable heel piece so we could both ski them. The potential problem is if we mount them between factory recommended for my boot size and his boot size and then adjust the heel of the binding forwards for my boot and backwards for his, is that I will be (if i did the math right) 6.25mm forward of recommended and he would be 6.25mm back of recommended. I guess my question is, how much of a difference will that have on the performance of the ski?
Not sure if that made sense but any help or bump would be very much appreciated +k
