whats the coolest crash

i was watching some of my vids today and was going through the crash sections, what do you guys think is the coolest, hardest, funniest crash ever. For me it would have to be a crash in subject to change over chads gap where the guy over shoots the landign by like 100 feet. If you got a fav crash tell us about it or poast it. Later

i like the one i subject to change where he kills the branch of the tree trying to hit the jump switch. yeah, makes me laugh.

two in propaganda, the one where the guy forgets to spin 90 and nuts the entire rail at mammoth or the one where the guy doesnt quite strp up enough on that step up, i love the crash part of propaganda. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

ben larsen skiing into this ditch/walkway thingy, and his tips didnt go up the other side...hardcore faceplant...hella dope...or maybe when he did it again, and leaned back too far, and rode up...to backflip back down...

Its not a ski movie but, if you've ever seen crusty 2000, the opening in that movie has some of the funniest gut wrenching shit i've ever seen.

I think the worst was at this year's Whistler World Skiing Invitational big air when Iannick Brouiellet was coming into the jump switch and.. well... kinda missed the jump. He ended up smoking a few people beside the jump. I was drunk and laughing my ass off. Oh the humanity!

theres some really good ones in snowboard movies. Like in stand and diliver, i think it was jim rippy but some guy trys a big back on a snowmobile and lands on his head with the snowmobile ontop of him.

i got two fav. crashes... one is the snowboarder who fuckes up on the step-up in Tee Time and hit's it upside down, goes perfectly with the music.. and the second one would be Dave Pauls busting his shoulder the season before the one that just finished. he did a barani and stomped it perfectly, after landing he reverts to forward but catches his edge and WHAM, right on his shoulder and separates it hardcore. (i wasn't there, but laughed at him a ton afterwards)... actually - dave's got a ton of good crashes.

We caught this one tape in March or so, doing a handrail, my buddy on his board finally greased it all sick like and when he comes off, hes lookign back at us, yelling shit and pumping his fists, then he runs into a tree and pops out his knee! It was hilarious, until he was almost passed out from the pain. But the tuff bastard didnt even go to the hospital, he just whacked it again and popped 'er back in!

best crash i've ever seen was in the clip of the week section at tetongravity.com anyone who hasnt seen it should check it out. the title is 'rob holmes huge lawn dart' and thats what it is pretty much... just that he doesnt get it all the way around and lands on his head... off from one of the biggest cliffs ive ever seen anyone take.



Just for sheer guts, the best crash is the one from Ski movie 2, when the guy takes and falls on that rail about 40 times.


And if anyone has seen Area 1, one of the last crashes in the fall section... the guy who does a rodeo or something and hits the lip of the jump upside down with his head... ow.

just the other day I was biking and we were hitting a gap that could fit 5 people a and a newspapper in it. I had already crashed on it so I told me freind to go. I heard him say that he hit it so I went and when I came down the hill I just hurd someone say he didn;t and I was probly going about 40k slammed on my front brakes(backbrakes don't work) but my front tire had already left and while I was in the air I didn;t let go of my break landed, did a few flips... then my bike landed.... My face was coverd in mud so when I went home to wash it of, I saw that my face was pretty much destroed, cuts all over my face and my lip was riped open at the corner, not to mention the biggest fat lip ever!

all in propaganda: when some guy tries to hit a rail between to things(cant see what they are) and catches a ski in the it. he goes flying. also the kinked rail in the dark where buddy goes head first into the cement. and when bornokowski tries to slide the rail between the two q pipes and misses, hits the side of the wall and then hits the ground

i fell out of the scoop of a tractor this weekend, it was fucking wicked. i was like 12 feet up, just chillin, than my friend who was driving it around the yard flipped the scooper thing over really fast and I fell. one of my arms is all cut up, but it wa funny. if you couldnt tell yet, both of us were drunk

yo, the funniest crash i have ever seen is, in the weekend my mate crash and fell into a river, it was soo funny, he got fucken wet man.
We were skiing this jump, this is at manganui in new zealand and he like just did a heli it was his first day for the season we were just chlling and he caught his edgen and like flung down and there is this rver under the snow and round some tussock and rocks, can't really see it, and he flung straight into it and flipped over and stuff, we call it the 'regimortus crash' coz he like goes all stiff before he coliides with a rock, and flips ove5r, its sooo funny, then hes like 'What the fuck, theres a fucken river here?, your fucken kidding me?' we were all pissing ourselves as he was just chilling in the river all fuck wet and confused. ahahahahahahhahahha had to be there i guess it was sooo funny.

probably that 'Rob Holmes Hucks his carcas' at TGR, or the Teton Gravity Clip of the Week labled 'SPLAT'. were the guy comes short on a gap and goes into a huge pile of snow, you just see an outline of his body in the snow.

for sure the best crashes are either kevin's (lovetoski84) first front flip, where he landed on his back and his skis flew off, did like 3 flips in PERFECT synchonizaation, and stuck in the snow, or my misty 5 to late grounded back flip(backwards somersault on the ground, requires no twin tips)

what about that competition in alaska in the late 1980's? there was a really bad crash while they were doing some extreme 'competition' big mountian skiing, and one guy took a bad fall. he broke his leg under the knee when he landed first and then he started to cartwheel, both skis off. the video is so sick, because you can see the guys broken leg come up in front of him and see the boot hit his head every time he does a cartwheel. In the end the guy had a badly broken knee and a concussion from the boot on that broken leg hitting him in the forehead so many times. sorry, i dont know where the video is tho.
