Surface One Life Alternative?

Hello Everybody. So I'm getting a warranty on my Surface One lifes and thus getting the 11-12 version in a couple weeks. I skied on them last season until they broke down. They were awesome skis but the 3-Stage rocker was a little too much more than I needed. I ski mostly in Vermont(Stowe, Jay Peak) and on breaks I go home to Colorado and ski Summit Country resorts.
Anyways I'm looking to sell the new One Lifes and get a ski, that is still a powder ski, but that can perform a little bitter on non-powder days. Definitely less of a rocker but prob the same same width underfoot(112). The 189 I was skiing on with the one life was a little long too so I was probably looking for something around 185. Do you guys have any suggestions for me? I would ideally like to sell the One Life's(New) and buy new skis for around the same price, but I would pay a little bit more for the new skis if necessary.
Thanks for any help

Ohh sorry I forgot to mention the One Life's were extremely stiff and I was kinda looking for a more fun flexier ski. Thanks!

You could check out the new Mr. Pollards opus from line, it is 118 underfoot and has some rocker but obviously nothing like the one life does. Or if you wanted something a bit more narrow you could check out the new Sir Francis Bacon also from line, it is 108 underfoot and rockered as well.

Look into the Moment Jaguar Sharks. Waist is a little larger, and it's a little softer, but looks like a bomber ass ski.

I really like what I saw out of the Opus. Are they new this year or is there a older version? I also like the JJ's but I have heard some negative things about Armada Skis. I'm guessing also that all these skis are gonna be around 700? I think I can sell my One Life's for about 500 so I'm just trying to save money. Keep the suggestions coming though guys!

Check out the Live Life too, more of a subtle rocker, bit bigger of a waist. It has a soft nose, but medium stiff underfoot

Ya the opus is brand new this year, the eric pollard pro has been around for awhile but that ski has been completely redesigned. I don't know who you have heard bad things about Armada from because I have only ever had good experience and heard good things. The JJ I have heard is an unbelievable ski and you should certainly look into that.

Yeah I would really like the Opus but I don't want to spend too much money for them. I was also looking at the Atomic Blog. Its a little thinner underfoot(110) which is totally fine and looks pretty fun as well. its also about a 100 bucks cheaper. My friend says the Opus will be more playful though.
Any thoughts?

Besides the cost of the Opus the only other thing that concerns me is the width. 118 is definitely the widest ski I would ever have. I ski about 60-70% in vermont and the rest in Summit County, Co(A-basin, Keystone, Vail). I'm worried that the 118 will just be too much. I hear that it is super playful and soft. I think maybe the 110 in the Blog might be more appropriate but I'm afraid that they won't be as playful as the Opus.

I didn't exactly break them straight out. The sidewalls on both skis were starting to delam pretty bad.

Ask Surface to switch for a Live Life. It's softer and has normal rocker and camber underfoot.

I'm pretty sure they shipped it already. Anyways I would look into the ski but I don't like the lengths. 191 is too long and 181 is too short.

191 isnt going to run long, just like the One life's. It will feel like something above a 181, which is too short for you

While the 189 did not "feel" long it still was. In the tight east coast trees I felt my tails smacking trees and struggling to make tight turns. In a ski that has less rocker and 2 cm's longer I doubt that will be better

You are going to want something shorter than a 185 if you thought the 189's were too long. The 189 one life is an extremely short 189, you should probably look for a 180ish. I have never had an issue with my 189 one lifes in east coast trees, they were more nimble than my lizzies.
