in ny it's always been 2 balls in the same cup lights out game over, but latly people have been telling me no you can't move the cup after the ball goes in and if we make it in the same cup its 3 cups.

funny story i played with this really hot girl who went to my school one of the top 3, and i made all ten then another 3 from sudden death. she didn't make one and wouldn't get naked even tho every guy at the party wanted her too, and even her friends said i made 13 cups so she had too and she didn't it was bullshit.

line up the cups. eye contact with the opposition, first one to sink a ball gets first throw. 2 in the same cup = 3 cups and balls back. 2 in different cups = balls back. 1 chance for redemption at the end of the game, if the opposition sinks the redemption then you get the balls back, if both players sink on the last 1 or 2 cups then no chance for redemption.

10) usually play with 5 people, 4 games each, 2 beers a match, tournament.

11) play with water the next morning-afternoon = get rehydrated and better at beer pong

8. we also play if you clear a whole rack with no reracks there is no rebuddle

12. if the ball bounces back and stays on the table you have to shoot behind the back

i think thats about it. but if your going to host beer pong make sure the rules are clearly made before you play. nothing worse then getting made at the douches who like to argue beerpong rules!

Start off by both teams with one ball and shoot eye to eye for the ball.

elbows behind the table.

Two reracks

bounce=two cups (Can be swatted)

if the ball comes back to you, you can shoot behind your back for 2 cups. (Off the table doesn't count)

NBA Jam rules: Heating up (2 in a row, gotta call it.) On fire (get your ball back until you miss).

When it comes to balls rolling on the rim: Guys can finger it out, girls can blow it out.

Two balls in same cup, if you dont move it in time, should be game over but its a dumb rule.

fair catch: catching cleanly when it bounces off the cup. must be above the table. (another dumb rule).

Rebuttal: If the other team makes it you and your partner can force OT by making your next shot and running the rest
of the cups (balls back until you miss)

OT= 3 cups. None of those rules^

a couple of summers ago when WSU had that massive outbreak of swine flu, everyone switched to playing with water in the cups, and drinking from side beers/mixed drinks. I actually like playing that way, you dont HAVE to play with beer, you dont have to drink from nasty ass cups, and the pong table doesnt get nasty from spilt beer.

I really dont see a downside(trust me, living with poor sanitation is not an issue for me). Each player just has to drink 1 beer/drink minimum through the course of the game win or lose. Plus you always have a pong game ready to go alcohol or not because the cups are always filled. Every time i passed through the living room i would take a few shots...ended up being very, very good.

people always get away with not drinking their beers if you play this way, people will start with a half beer and finish it or just carry theirs away. I mean i guess thats not a bad thing but it definitely inhibits drunkenness.

Umm let's see. I haven't played in a while actually (fuck not being in college anymore)

ELBOWS
Eye to eye for the first game, then winners always shoot first
Two re-racks
Bounce is two cups, but only a bitch would bounce
Same cup = 3 cups + rollback
Both make in separate cups = pull those cups + rollback
Always get rebuttal
No Jersey rollbacks (miss, but still on table = throw behind back, aka a rule for bitches)
Shutout = naked run
If you make 0 cups but it's not a shutout, you sit under the table for the next game as the beer pong troll
If you specifically call a cup and then make it, you can have your ball back (if you make the same cup, it doesn't count)
Overshoot the table? Drop your pants until you make a cup. Overshoot again you take off another piece of clothing (when you make a cup everything goes back on)

I think that's all

Oh yeah, we play with water in the cups so you can drink whatever you want, but if your opponent sinks it in the cup you are currently drinking while you are taking a sip, you must finish that drink and get another.

our house rules

1: winners start the game

2: one for a shot, two for a bounce

3: two in the same cup before it's moved = game over

4: roll backs must be on the table and result in any trick, opponent calls

5: one fucking re-rack

6: If there is one cup seperate from at least two other touching cups each player may call island once and that cup = 2 if made

7: guys finger, girls blow

8: elbows behind the table

9: swat after a bounce is fair

10: both partners make a cup the balls come back

11: Make two you call "heating up" make a third you call "on fire" and shoot till you miss.

12: Naked lap is enforced, you don't like it, get the fuck out of my house. (unless you're a dude, nobody cares)

not to brag, but i'm really good. put me with a partner who can make some shots and i guarantee that we can put together some shutouts before the other team can even touch the ball. I usually just end up subbing in someone else because playing drunk girls is too damn easy...

bounce is 2, but you can block after the bounce
2 in one cup is 3 (stacking with bounce) and roll back (toss again)
a cup that's knocked over by the ball or the defenders is out, make sure they're full / watch your hands
1 re-rack whether its 6 or 10 cup
if you get your ball back, behind the back or comparable trick shot (none of the under the leg bullshit) but any cups sunk by your partner are cleared
blowing's fine because half the drunks end up with a facefull of beer
fingerings fine because it doesn't work
rebuttals: you have to clear the rest of the cups without missing to go into one cup sudden death
death cup: if someone doesn't finish their beer, and you sink in that cup, game over.

We usually play 6 cup unless we playing doubles then its 10 cup.

1. Eye to eye to start the game, unless there's a previous winner then its their ball.
2. Make both shots or both partners make shots - balls back
3. When you make a cup, the other team pulls
4. If you make 2 balls in same cup - game over
5. bounce shots count as 2 cups
6. Elbows behind the table
7. Girls blow, guys finger
8. Full-contact roll-backs, essentially if you miss and the ball goes anywhere on the floor its full contact to get it. If shooter gets the ball you get a trick shot (behind the back, off the wall, off ceiling)
9. If you get a roll-back of a roll-back shot its a double trick shot (Behind the back and off the wall) I've made a behind the back with eyes closed off the wall /claim.
10. You make it in their drinking cup - game over
11. If you get skunked (ie. make no cups) you either have to drink the rinse cup, sit under table next round, or whatever we agree upon prior to the game)
12. Only 1 re-rack per game, unless 10 cup then you get 2
13. In redemption you shoot till you miss, may call cups for 2 cups
14. If redemption is made then OT is 3 on 3, no re-racks

Thats all i can think off right now, may be some very minor rules missing.

Not a rule, but a gentleman's rule:
-No distracting on last cup
