How do you search for live music?

What up NS,

I just landed a job doing the booking and promotion for a little music venue in Fall River, Mass, Waterstreet Cafe http://www.facebook.com/TheRoomWaterstreet?sk=app_200193303353101 They have a website, but it's pretty laughable so if you guys want to check it out, for now, I recommend the Facebook page.

Anyway, for all the NS music goers out there I was wondering if you could help me out and let me know how you go about searching for shows to go see?

Do you keep on top of different venue/band websites? Do you check out newspapers like Mercury and Phoenix? Do you like bands and venues facebook pages? Do you check out websites like jambase and reverbnation?
