I need cheap editing software that will make me a sick edit and i wanted advice from the newschoolers community on what some good software is any advice is useful i was told the vegas trial was enough to make a cool edit?

i've never understood why people think software will somehow make them good at editing.
many of the best edits have little to no effects, just simple cuts.
something like premiere or vegas will be good, or final cut if you're on a mac.

It's even better when kids ask when the include "steezy edits" in the criteria of the camera buying threads.
but OP, if you're on a PC, Pinnacle Studio is 50 bucks and is good for beginners.
