Hey, i'm looking to buy some new skis for the 11-12 season. I've been searching for feedback on SFB mostly, but since they changed the ski pretty dramatically this season I wasn't sure how accurate it was. I'm also open to suggestions for any other skis that you guys have really enjoyed. I've been skiing on 07 Armada ARVs for the past 4 years, originally rode them all mountain but remounted them center and rode PC the last 3 years. I am still plannin to use these for my beater skis and will be riding them on full park days.
I am 6ft tall, 150 lbs, and an aggressive skier. Looking for an all in one ski that will be used 45% for powder (will be hitting cliffs/trees/booters), 40% park (not too great in the park, but will be hitting all the features), and 15% normal condition days (i think i will be able to charge with most skis that aren't powder dedicated skis).
I'm pretty much stuck on makin my decision but still have a month or so before i will make my purchase so wanted to get some input from the community.
Some other skis i've considered include Mr. Pollard's Opus, On3p Caylor lights, Surface Watch Life and Life Life, and another pair of ARVs. I also considered getting a powder ski and try to avoid riding park too much on them, but i feel like it would be more bang for the buck to just get an all in one ski.
Thanks!!
