Someone help me get a lens!

so i just picked up a t2i and im looking for a lens to go along with it, im going to give you as much info as i can think of here, if you need more just let me know

camera is a t2i as said

not looking to spend over 500, 450 range is nice

looking for a do it all versatile lens

mostly used for video, both ski and non ski related

still would take photos but probably 75% video

here is something i found and liked from the sounds of it but any help would be awesome

Yeah dude I've looked at some samples with the tamron and it looks really fresh.

as i read down i was thinking i was going to recommend that, but you answered for yourself. i have it, love it, also on a t2i. make sure you get the non vc version. i picked mine up on here for 350 used if you want to go used.

opteka 10-20 fisheye $300 and it isnt as bad as it sounds i know someone who uses it on his t2i and it looks great

really? what a terrible recommendation. And i think you mean sigma 10-20. Just having a fisheye is not enough, a 17-50 would be a much better start then he should buy a fisheye/ultra wide angle.
