What is up New Schoolers!
Connor here with ARTificial Skis to give you an update! We have been just waiting and waiting for this west coast snow to start falling and piling up! It slowly but surly has and a few mountains have been opening! Last week I got to adventure out to Stevens Pass for their opening half day last Tuesday and to Crystal Mountains opening day on Wednesday! We had a blast, Stevens Pass had five features up which made our day! The snow was a little wet and the traffic was bad but I can’t wait to go back when the whole mountain is open! Crystal on the other hand was paaaaacked! It took an hour in line to get to the top of the gondola and another hour in line when we got to the next chair! Needless to say the snow was dry and light but no features insight so we made do with any jump we could find and was nose blocking all day! The ski I road both days were the 2012-2013 NURTURES and I can official say I am in love! There isn’t a more playful yet responsive and light ski on the market! Sure you can go for the line after bangs but they don’t quiet have the butter zone like the NURTURES! You can sit in line and lean back and get your tips almost a half a foot off the ground! You almost find a butter lock zone, where you come to a stop at the perfect butter!
I cant wait to get out there in the public more for some demo days so we can really show all you New Schoolers out there what we have to offer! So if there is any mountains, passes, or even back yard wet dry ramps that you guys want us to vist let us know! We are currently working on our 2012 – 2013 demo day schedule as we speak, so keep your eyes out!
