Electric eg1 vs eg1s lens

Does anyone know if the eg1s lens will fit the eg1 frame? i understand the differences between contour lenses but the frame shape seems eerily similar and I was wondering if anyone had tried ?

Have you attempted ? I have to try and cancel my order and I will as long as you are confident , just dont want to screw up my ebay rating ya know ? But I am super appreciative of your reply !
