OEC Course Takers?

As I crack open my OEC course book, I realize this is the most important text book I have ever received. For those who do not know, OEC stands for Outdoor Emergency Care and is the course one must take to become a Ski patroller.

Who else is taking OEC this year to be a patroller?

I'm taking 5 AP classes, and the rest honors. I just realize that this is actually important and providing a life skill. Our instructor prefaced this class by saying "this will teach you how to keep someone alive for 20-30 minutes while you wait for the proper paramedics to arrive".

That, sir, is a life skill.
