Sorry this is in ski gabber but a timely answer would be most helpful. I used streamclip to save the video file as MOV but the 59 fps says in is incompatible in lightworks. Anyone have this problem or know the solution? Big thanks to any help
OP, you're probably going to need to use mpeg streamclip to convert them to 30fps so they are compatible, then if you want something to play back at normal speed in lightworks, just speed up the clip. seems like the easiest solution if lightworks just straight won't take gopros 60 (approx.) fps.
if you like lightworks and are content with it and don't plan on using another editing program soon, then use MPEG streamclip to convert the clips to 30p. however if you want, you can download premiere or vegas (if you're limited to a PC) and i highly recommend FCP7 if you're on a mac. if you plan on getting editing, the sooner you switch to a more advanced program the better.
