Difference between POC receptor bug and receptor+

looking for a new helmet after taking a very decently gnarly crash at hood this summer and breaking my old receptor bug.

was looking around and i just want to know what the difference is and whether the "multiple impact" helmets are bullshit

good question about "multi impacts", i've had a my giro g10 for the last 5 back to back seasons and 2 holidays before that and it seems fine after shit loads of impacts, just how hard do you have to hit your head to reder the foam inside useless?

i dont know man, this was the first time i ever broke a helmet, but it is visible with a large crack in the black EPS(right?) above the ear

Tell poc, that doesn't seem right. (IE email them.)

I've seen people in pocs take gnarly hits and be okay. I"ve been wanting to get one but i don't have the money.

in helmet lore they are supposed to have one good hit in them. i had a POC frontal break on me, but it also saved my life in the impact.

receptor bug is the receptor+ for snow only. receptor+ is able to be used for all types of sports/activities, but the bug is warmer / windproof / object proof.

If youre gonna use the helmet for skiing only, then there is no difference between the two, safety wise.

And yes, a helmet is only good for one big crash, if it broke, it probably saved you're life!
