Im interested in getting 167 masterminds. but how are they? i herd they have a slow base but other than that they're fine?

also, if anyone has 167s ill buy!

to be honest they are slow and cheap and very flexy, they are a good price point ski but for a little extra you could prob get a better ski

It depends what type of skier you are.. i have them i like them cause theyre light weight but there kinda cheap and slow they are for begginer to intermidiate skiers.. because if your gonna spend 300$ on them put throw in a bit more money and get better stuff

i was looking into them, but looked at many threads and many people have said that they broke or delammed. and i just flexed some today and they feel soft as hell, like not butter zone type soft, but just the whole ski is a noodle.
honestly, i would take your money elsewhere, spend 150 more and get a ski that you will be happy with and last for like 3 years as opposed to 1.

sick, and im pretty light, and i ride mainly rails but i dont charge into jumps or anything. id like a light, flexy fun ski

I believe at SIA they were saying this years models had race bases. Which should make atleast a bit faster.

Yeah your right. I just looked through the SIA it was the step up that got a race base not masterind
