I found in time magazine today an interesting new invention, being tested in japan, its the World's First 'Contactless Palm Vein Pattern Biometric Authentication System'. It says that it can be installed into walls and such, and when i read this, the first thing i thought, was 'its the future of doors'. as in Star Treck, this could be the beginning of palm activated safe doors everywhere, because you just put your hand up to it, and it recognizes the veins.
