"Silverton" in MSP

Hey guys so I saw the premiere of attack of la' nina last night and there was a small town in it called "Silverton" and I was wondering if any of you guys knew where it was, I have google'ed it and there were some results (BC, Oregon etc..) but being such a small town I can't really be sure where it is, any help would be nice

There is a Silverton in BC as well. It's right next to New Denver, about 40min from Retallack.

Apparently that part of BC was founded by Americans in search of gold and silver and named after US cities. Just a fun fact for you.

There is this Pub in Silverton, BC that I always drive by on my way up the Slocan which is right on the lake with an awesome patio. I've always wanted to stop there for a beer, but I've always been under some time constraint. Finally this spring I had the opportunity to stop there to watch a hockey game and to my horror - it has shut down.

It made me really sad.

Ridiculous

Silverton is sick. It has one lift and then endless backcountry terrain. Highly recommend if your into that.

silverton is the truth. what else can i say? hopefully when you go youre not going for the bar scene. the skiing is amazing though. I havent been everywhere but it is the best lift accessed terrain ive ever had a chance to ski.
