so i always thought it was kinda crazy that ppl speed check a jump by flying in at mach speed nd then trying to stop right at the lip of the jump, and it always looks like their about to fall off, but they never do and then i saw the grand bizarre, and it happens at 3:30, thanks to nick martini, which i have to say is a man for taking a scary digger lie that
you can establish a feel for the amount of speed you can obtain for coming into the jump, as well as getting a feel for the transition and angle of it as well.
this, unless it is in a park that is super consistant, speed is usually the same, jump sizes are consistant, etc. but if a park has been changed up i usually speed check
Dude the worse is when you have the speed down and you realize on the incline of the kicker you are going to knuckle so you try and bail/stop. Sometimes you make it, others you go over and die =/.
