Surface One Lifes Really run that short?

So pretty much i am having troubles with the sizing, everyone is saying go 189 cause the ski runs short but that seems huge i ride a 170cm park ski, so pretty much does it actually run that short. By the way i am 5 foot 10 inches, weigh 150 pounds, expert skier, am 17 years old, and will be using it for pow, backcountry booters, cliffs, landing riding switch in pow.

Def go 189. They really do ski super short.

i'm 5'8 and i wish i had the 189's somtimes... but then again i do weigh more than you

have you seen the rocker profile? its insane, i skied a 189 center mount on a 30cm pow day, it was awesome, tho im 6'2'' and my pow ski is a 178 gotama, which skis shorter than snowblades :p

I'm the same height as you and weighed about 10-15lbs less than you when I had my pair of 189's. If you plan on mounting them anywhere near center I would suggest going with the 189's anything less than that is going to feel real short.

They have about 90cm of contact surface when you're just running on normal snow.
I'm 6'2", and was skiing the 189's. They still ripped and charged, I just found them to be a little short at some point.
I still love the ski and highly recommend it

189 just came here from UPS...dam there a big ski haha hopefully they ride shorter then they look cause they look massive
