Car Question

I am having trouble deciding between two cars. Audi A4 2.0T Quattro and BMW 328xi. Both are 2008 cars. They will be both be used for skiing in the winter. I am leaning more towards the Audi myself, but I am still kind of torn between the both. The 4 cylinder turbo seems more appealing to me as opposed to the 6 cylinder in the BMW. Which would you choose NS?

nobody brings their diesels to the states, no market for them here. everybody wants a 'hybrid' instead of actual efficiency.
I'd kill for a diesel quattro a4 wagon, or a diesel hilux, or a diesel anything, but nope. not in the US.

that's a BS answer if you ask me. There are thousands upon thousands of toyota truck owners that have been screaming for a diesel yota for at least a decade. I think the american truck market just doesn't wanna give up their domination on diesel.

Agreed. Every jeep forum is plastered with threads about diesel conversions/wanting chrysler to put a diesel plant into jeeps

the problem is with the american consumers, they are simply too fucking stupid. People consider diesels engines to be loud, noisy, and dirty because they see a dump truck or big rig or 15 year old vw/merc with an old diesel plant...they dont understand how far diesel technology has come.

They also see manufacturers promoting HP numbers that make people drool...newsflash idiots 90% of you commuting to work RARELY hit the rpm's to produce that number of ponies, they dont understand that they would be much better off driving to work with a diesel engine with a power range that is much more practical for commuting

so i have decided on getting the audi .... it is 2007 but everything else looks good. a couple questions though. Is 50k miles too much? and also how hard is it to mount a ski rack on it? any response would be appreciated. thanks!
