from what i've read the trick to a good hamburger is too use medium ground beef and a skillet, with some melted butter basted on both sides of the burger. don't pack the burger to dense or it won't cook evenly. cooking on a flat surface instead of a grill keeps the burger cooking in its own fat, which gives the flavor. on a grill, the fat just falls through and your burger is getting more tasteless as it cooks.

king kong burger from a local in hawaii, they were huge and had grilled pineapple. Rodeo burger from blue donkey is also really good

Looks dank, but I don't agree with your stacking decision. Lettuce should always go on the bottom to keep the bun from soaking up all the juices and turning into a soggy mess.

The Bag at Sugarloaf Maine, has one of the best burgers I have had. Bulky roll hand made, bed of the lettuce, tomato, onion you know the works, what makes this burger different is the beef. Its one of those juice burgers that runs down your mouth when you bite into it.

Another good burger was in Bozeman, Montana at Teds Montana Grill. The beef is Bison and was some of the best beef I have ever had.
