Effie's Place in Rush Center, Kansas. best burger I've ever had.  If you like 1/2 pound hand pressed burgers made from daily in house ground black angus for the price of $3.25 ($5.75 if you want a pound of fries on the side)

smash burger colorado burger.

otherwise, do it homemade, make a big thick patty with good beef, get a good amount of butter, coat the whole thing with it. then grill it with a bunch of wood chips of your choice, add a second coat of butter after you flip it. once its close to done, add some salt or seasoned salt, and a decent amount of pepper. get some onions, peppers or whatever other kind of veggies you can think of, coat them in oil, put them straight on the grill, once they are about half done add some kind of spicy barbeque sauce to it, make sure to cover them cause most will just melt/fall off.

then i get two pretty thick slices of bread, i like any kind of wheat over white. butter them up just a little, toast them however you want, add some franks red hot to the inside of the bread just before you put the burger on, a slice of cheese on each side of the patty,put on your onions/veggies, then ketchup or whatever other topping you want on top of that. pretty simple and insanely delicious.

Some restaurant in Revelstoke, BC... I wasn't expecting anything good, but it was the best burger I've ever had.

Burger Joint at Le Parker Meridian is better...give it a shot. It's a dive bar in the middle of a classy hotel, and the burgers are phenomenal. Zagat gave the food a 25.

The Bobcat burget @ uh, The Bobcat in Bristol, VT.  Amazing isn't even the word. 

Still can't fuck with my homemade ones tho.  Half local grassfed 80/20 ground sirloin, half ground veal, topped with local VT cheddar, fresh local greens and toms, and a little mayo on local bread cooked MR.  I literally brought back a friend from vegetarianism with one.  They're like a legend in our social circle.  Don't believe me?  Go get ground veal and mix it half and half with your ground sirloin and report back once your tastebuds stop cumming.

If B&D is the best burger you've had, you are living a sad, sad life my friend. So many better Greek joints in SLC. Olympus, Crown and Apollo all blow B&D out of the water. Smash, 5 Guys and In-n-out are all super bomb. Bourbon House is my new joint though, they do a half pound Juicy Lucy with your choice of cheese that is absolutely ridiculous. First burger in while that I refuse to put any condiments on, just lettuce, onion & tomato.

Nothing beats homemade though.
