"Fat Man's Agony" 1lb burger basically the size of a plate, the 1lb of fries came on it's own separate plate. Just outside of Denali National Park after a week spent backpacking in the park's backcountry without meat. Best fucking burger ever.

It was entirely unexpected, but the best burger I have ever had was at a lovely place called Pete's in Downtown LA. It also came with the best sweet potato fries I have ever had. It was weird cause it was onl $12 and everything else on the menu was over $20. Amazing glorious burger. I plan to have many more.

The best burger I've ever had was home-made, by myself. Any home-made burger is always better than anything you'd get a restaurant. I make mine with eco-beef, eggs, ketchup, some pizza-cheese and a few spices. Then beeftomato, big cucumber-slices, lettuce, som red onion, a little ketchup and bearnaise between the burger and then bun. Mouth-orgasm.

my old crew coach was an organic beef farmer. he had complications with one of his cows the day before our end of season barbeque so he killed it, made his own ground beef, and brought a pot of it to the barbeque and made burgers. it was by far the freshest, best burger i have ever had and ever will have. it didn't fall apart yet it just melted in my mouth. amazing

other than that i'm a sucker for 5 guys bacon cheeseburgers

my personal favorite, the bear trap

one half pound venison/beef mix per patty

thick worchestire sauce, one egg per 2lbs meat, and a blend of seasonings I'm going to keep secret

Grill the meat on high for two minutes a side then back it off to low till done cooking

NEVER, AND I REPEAT, NEVER SQUISH THE MEAT WITH THE SPATULA WHEN YOU'RE GRILLING.

that is the dumbest shit ever and it makes me want to punch babies when people do it. you're squeezing out all the juicy goodness.

Find yoself some nice hearty hamburger buns and plop one of those meatcakes down on one. top that shit with 4 slices of thick cut peppered bacon, some extra sharp cheddar, thinly sliced RAW jalepenos, a leaf of lettuce, and your favorite barbecue sauce and you have one hell of a burger.

god i'm glad i took some ground meat out of the freezer for tonight

Where is this place? Ive heard some good things I like Erica burgers also but not as good as their nachos so I don't get them to much. Besides that five guys is pretty good especially for the speed and price. I really like my own burgers I take ground meat 80/20 then make two decent size balls like meat balls now take your seasonings I have a nice mix and add some bread crumbs but not to much we aren't making meatloaf the purpose for this is the bread absorbs the juice that the burger let's out. We will talk more about this later. So take your balls all nice and seasoned and then make two patties. Make one with a den in it this is your bottom patty. Take your semi cooked bacon that is chopped and put it in there a long with what ever else you like in a burger cheese is a must I used shredded cheddar and some habanero chess I get from the market adds a nice tang. Also I put caramelized onions I. There from time to time. I really like the burger basic though. Ok now you put the patty on top and mold them together and let them sit for a few minuetes let some of the bacon greese get into the meet. Now you are ready to grill. Always make your burgers on a flat top I use a cast iron griddle this way the burger cooks in the juices since it doesn't go down into the grates and create flame ups which result in a Burnt burger. Cook medium well but make sure the middle is done since this burger is pretty thick. Put your buns on the grill and toast them ever so slightly. Now you are ready to build. Take your bun put down shredded lettuce first on the bottom then tomato then burger then you coat the top bin in a thin layer of mayo. I make a nice mayo with some regular mayo with some spices tastes quite good. Some Utah people might use fry sauce. But the key to this is don't over power the burger you want to taste the bacony cheesy goodness. Now you can eat and you know you did it right when the cheese is ooooooozzzzzzzing like Lava on all the Japanese people. Enjoy ns. I used to make my own from our stock. Half 80/20 grass fed sirloin, half 80/20 ground veal. Holy shit talk about melt in your mouth, I literally brought a vegan friend back to meatland with one bite. Literally.

In other news, someone just told me there are amazing steamed cheeseburgers right down the street from where I deliver stuff in Meriden , CT. Def gonna try those!

The Angry Beaver in Belleville, Ontario! Double Cheeseburger with bacon, peameale bacon, poutine, onions, swiss, curd and cheddar cheese. I think it had havarti on it too. with a breakfast sausage patty in between the two burgers. It was delicious.
