I wouldn't be too stoked to be an electrician... If you're interested in that kind of stuff why not go into electrical engineering? You could make boatloads more.

Most people don't go to school for video editing, its usually a film production program, and some of them focus more on developing your technical skills, and some focus more on developing your directing skills. Either way though if you want to do a good film production program you'll need to have a solid portfolio together by the time you apply, and ski edits get you nowhere in film production, they want directing and a story more than good filming, because its easier to teach technical skills.

Electricians make good money from what i have heard, for video editing you have to be good to earn some dough, good luck man

thats what im talking about when i say video editing. and thanks for the tips i dont know much about it. +K and yeah i love electrical stuff and ive always wanted to do that so thats why im thinking that instead of engineering.

If you are looking at a trade, i would seriously look at a construction job. You can work your way out of the field and into managment pretty quickly if you are a good leader, and show initiative. A lot of the Construction MGMT guys i deal with started out the same a pedro and jesus, but 15 years later they actually have some decent responsibility, a baller company bought truck, and a great carreer they can do into old age.

trades are wierd because the salary floor is really high, but the the cieling is really low.

that is true. but im really thinking those 3. and also. any trade schools in/around SLC?
