if you plan on hitting the jump, stopping short, taking off your skis and climbing over. then yes.

Let's put it this way, you might be able to, but do you really want to come up short...? Most of the time dudes need to do larger jumps like that the 20 is the better way to go.

That's why the 20 is more popular, because it's the way to be sure you can get enough speed for everything, and if you don't need as much launch it can do that too.
