not bad...try and follow the rule of thirds. so either the sky is 1/3 of the shot or the ground/ below horizon is 1/3 of the shot

Rules of thirds aside, all the lines in the picture, including the horizon, are pointing towards the left edge, outside of the picture.
The viewer is first drawn towards the bright reflection in the puddle, and then the eyes are drawn out of the picture, looking for a subject that isn't there.

If you walk out into that field and have those lines with water in them reflecting the sky but also converging to a central point at the horzon, it could look pretty awesome. I would say that in such a case you would want to keep it half and half too.
The rule of thirds is less rule, more guideline if you're not sure about how something should be composed.

i would've focused more on the water and the reflection that was given off. also rule of 3rds might've set the photo apart from all the other b/w pictures of fields. it is a nice photo though
