well now im pissed. Fuck people who have to bully people. Everyone seriously needs to start standing up to bullies. I know I will. And to those of you who are the bullies, just stop for a second and think about what you are really doing and how it could affect the person, even if what you are doing seems minuscule.

it wasn't one bully. the kids mom died, the he got diagnosed with a very serious disease, then he was tormented by the bully, then the bully robbed the dads iphone, then the bully got expelled, and once expelled, all of the bullies friends picked on the kid everyday. he was obviously miserable, depressed, and suffered an anxiety, likely ptsd from the death of his mom, the shock of his disease, and the multiple assaults he was victim to. you tell me then, how easy life is, and how easy it would be to stay positive.

What most people don't know is that when children are abused (be it yelling, hitting, neglect, etc.), the growth of their brains is stunted and the brain itself is altered in highly negative ways. The areas that abuse most effects are the areas that are responsible for moral judgment and reasoning, in addition to hyperactivity in the regions responsible for aggression and fear. We can talk about how despicable child bullies are all we want, but if we don't recognize the causes and work to change things, we'll never move forward as a society.
