K2 hellbents

How do the K2 hellbents do on groomers ive heard alot of stories some saying there fine, others saying not so good. I just want to get this clarified so i know if this season is gonna be tough on the grooms or not. The 2011 hellbents im talking about.

haven't ridden personally, but seen multiple people with them on groomers and they look just fine

I have the 2010 Hellbents and I find the groomers to be just fine. Granted, I don't ski groomers on my Hellbents often, and you won't be laying down any beautiful GS turns on them. But they will take you down a groomer none the less, they will just feel like a wider, bulkier, ski.

In addition, K2 change the design of the Hellbent starting with the 2011 model. They made them a little fatter under foot and added a tiny bit of traditional camber under foot, so the 2011's onward probably ski even better than mine, at least on groomers.

i like mine on slushy or softer groomers very much. is is a pain in the ass though. they carve nicely once you know how they work

i personally don't mind skiing with them on groomers, they are a little chattery and squrlie at time, but they are actually a lot of fun during the spring because of the huge amount of rocker and the 132 underfoot they rally through all the corn and slush and don't get bogged down, and they butter like there is no 2maro.
