My FKS have taken a beating on summer setups lately and they seem more loose than usual. There is a good amount of play side to side in the toe piece. Thought that maybe the forward pressure was off or the side arms had loosened with use but when I tightened the side arms half a turn each, the side to side play in the toe became worse. I am embarrassed asking you guys but I feel that there is an easy solution I am not thinking of. FKS GURUS PLEASE HELP. Also if anyone has an online manual for adjusting FKS please post. I really appreciate any positive input.

It could be so many diffrnt things I think your best bet is take them to a shop and have them looked at. It could be the spring has worn out in the toe. This could make sense as it got worse putting more pressure in the toe when you increased thefoward pressure. If thats the case it may b new bindings. It could also be your boots din pad is worn out so you may need new boots. The foward pressure could be well off to, but unless you know what your doing you should not even touch it. Best bet as I say is take your skis and boots to a shop and see what they say, but be prepared that you may need either new boots or bindings.

Thank you very much good answer. I neglected to mention my din pads are shot and Dalbello is in the process of mailing me some. I hope this makes the difference and I am telling myself they will just because I would be disappointed if my 1 year old FKS already has a dead spring in the toe. I ski hard as fuck but iI don;t think it's that hard as fuck. I am going to take them to a shop if they still are messy after my new heel pieces. thanks again

Yeah hopefully its just the worn out heel and toe. If the toe is worn then it will be sitting lower in the binding and the wings may not be holding it properly. When you put the new ones on make sure there is no gap between the sheel and the pad. Often people wear though both the pad and teh shell.
