specificly switch, i had always found it difficult to take off switch in my other boots, but every nordica ive ever tried makes switch takeoffs just feel so right... idk the flex on the hotrod 85s is perfect i mean everyone ankles are different but nordicas flex so well skiing and taking of and landing switch

same here, but not that bad (after 2 days), but with the AOS. took out the green rubber thing in the back and it was slightly better. they feel very nice, but just dont seem to flex much when its cold.

maybe not all their boots are the same. the ace of spades sucks in my opinion, but traditional nordica boots are the most comforfotable bots for switch takeoffs and landings ive ever worn, i have an older pair of nordicas that are just as good. maybe its just cuz they fit certain leg profiles well, but i got bowl legs from soccer n track, and my nordicas feel like snowboard boots to me

my dead moneys are one of the most comfortable boots that I have ever put on. I hear tons of people getting mad shinbang with the double six's, but as of right now I have nothing bad to say about the dead moneys

It's not about what boot causes shinbang, it's about the boot which doesn't fit you that causes shinbang.
What works for one person, can quite often be painful for another. In this day and age, it has nothing to do with the design of the boot- it has everything to do with what works with your subjective biomechanical needs.
One Nordica boot works well with your subjective foot/ankle structure, another one doesn't. One boot works well for one person, the same boot doesn't for another.
To say that a boot doesn't give shinbang is only true for the person who the boot doesn't give shinbang to. This is the reason why you will see thread after thread about someone absolutely loving a boot and the another person claiming it gave them the worst shinbang ever.

for me it was, because in the cold they dont flex enough. they fit my foot perfectly, but with heavy switch landings, the boot just doesnt give in enough. also once flexing the tongue forward with alot of pressure, it remains in that position, leaving a slight gap between shin and liner. i do not have that problem when in warm conditions.

Part of having a boot fit you well is that it not only fits your foot, but the flex matches what you need. Shell fit is the first step, flex is the next. It's hard to gauge the right stiffness when you are different temperature conditions, but if you are in mostly rather cold areas, perhaps get your boot slightly softened. I think that would help on the cold days but not be problematic in the warm ones. It just depends on what temps you find yourself most often in.
