Question about getting a new phone

Hi right now im stuck on a contract and my phone is a broken piece of shit that barely works and can only send texts. I was wondering if i can just buy an old better phone from a friend and put that on my contract for free? thanks +K for answers

btw i have verizon

Hi, why dont you go into a verizon store, and fuckin ask.

problem solved.

but since you asked. if both phones take sim cards you can, if they dont, then there might be a bit more to it, like having to change your number, renew contract, etc...

i've had verizon change my number over to another phone without the the sim card. they did it free of charge since i've been a good customer but normally there is a small fee. also, go on their site, there is a number you can call and some codes you can punch in to activate a different phone, as long as it's a verizon one.
