I have recently tried to upload some videos, non-embeded, and when it says theyre finished uploading, they did not show up on my media. So i tried again, and got the same thing 4 more times. I then tried to embed videos, 6 actually, and went through all the details. Went to my media/my videos, non of them showed up
I am seeing 6 copies of the same embedded video in your My Media, just go in and tag the category and it'll show up. As for the upload, seems a few people are having issues and we are looking into it
Browser is very important. Try switching bewteen internet explorer, firefox, google chrome. The old firefox versions had an impossible time dealing with the ns media applications
How long is the video supposed to be? I just watched it, shows a length of 1:27 and it looks fine, everything ends with the fade out after the brand logos
You video looks like it uploaded fine. the Tube video I'm assuming? All you have to do now is go into your My Media and set the category to Rails or Edits instead of Private and it will show in the video section
We've got that fixed now. Was working proper in some places but not others. The video will play all the way through, though the length still lists as 0:48
it came from sony vegas. I'm not really sure what it is. I had never seen it before, but when i rendered my video it gave it to me in a .mxf file. It uploads to youtube fine, so it's some sort of video file
YouTube has bazillions of formats that they support. Would it be hard for you to just render as an .avi? Make it a normal file with less compression. THen that could work.
If not and if enough people want to use .mxf we'll see what we can do about adding it to the supported formats.
That's odd, we'll open this up again. Though we did fix it so the video will play the full actual length no matter what the "Playtime" field shows, so they are no longer being cut off.
Can you let us know as much info as you can about the source file you uploaded? thanks
can't upload anything right now. on the site or through the desktop uploader.
on the site it gets to like 90% uploaded and then says that it will take like 1640 more hours and stays there.
desktop uploader just kinda doesn't work. its uploading progress is so random....
idk whats goin on
