They seem like they would be to long and get in the way with rails. Are they a light ski?

I'm really confused. It seems like you're talking about a specific pair, but i have no idea what.
And yeah, it's a good size, you'll get used to almost anything so it doesn't make that big of a difference if it's just a couple of cm's
