Why Jibberish?

I dont understand the insane craze about Jibberish clothing. i understand that they make huge sizes and everything but most of their clothing looks ridiculous. I will say though that some sweatshirts are sweet like the loHI and some of their colabs and other sweatshirts i dont know the name of because i dont pay much attention to it. But i just created this thread so you could educate me. Im not hattin on you, so dont hate on me with comments.

good fit for me being a taller guy, and its got some classy pieces. i cant say i dont buy it for the name cuz i like being the only one in my area with jiberish, but i'll still only buy things that look good to me..

Jiberish started almost exclusively as a ski brand that made huge hooded jackets and sweat pants. It used to be pretty difficult to grab a piece of Jiberish, much less the size and style you were looking for. The hype has carried through, even though it's pretty easy to get what you want now. I'll keep buying their clothes as long as they have such a big part in the ski industry. I just hope they don't grow too much more.

Why? You want them to stay "core"? I want to see as many skiing based companies become as big as possible both because I want the people who have given us so much to be successful and that is how our sport is going to grow.

yeah but the way they're headed now if they get any bigger they'll stop making hoodies for skiing, they make less and less every year and more silly streetwear fad clothing styles that kids will hate in a year anyway.

This is exactly what I was thinking. It seems like every line they drop now is slowly getting farther away from skiing, but we will see in the next couple months about the line that really matters.

I don't think thats true at all. Their line gets bigger every year and they make multiple releases now. I agree they do make some trendy dumb stuff. I havent bought any jiberish in three years but every drop their is at least one piece that I really do like and I think that is how many people on this site feel.

Ya but that is the same with every company. I remember 4 or so years ago when I saw someone at the hill with Saga or Lethal descent I automatically thought that they were a shredder, now every kid and his parents rock it.

If jiberish continues to grow like they are they will begin to enter a different market and it will allow new smaller streetwear companies to come in and take its place. Much like Siver and Orage moved on from the super "core" scene and paved the way for companies like saga, LDC, First drop, Bloom and every other new outerwear company that has popped up.

(Jiberish) company even limits number of pieces of clothing so kids will buy them faster. (Jiberish) kids buy out all products, company makes a killing (moar skittle pimps!!) rinse/repeat. its ingenious
