Gus's breakout edit

anyone know where to find it?  It was to a petey pablo song and I think gus was in yellow pants and a blue coat.  Mostly filmed at t-ride.  He added an escalator shot at the beginning and a shot of himself in a skullcandy bandana when he got picked up by coreupt i think.

normally i do not condone afterbang, but when you stomp the first ever double anything (particularly if it's off of a fixed metal object) i think you deserve a little rideaway.

i consider that shit "trained style" (as with bobby) in opposition of true freestyle like what the blackout project, stept, 4bi9 and even the nimbus crew is doing. i understand all these kids can do real damn good dub 12 mutes and can put together fucked up good comp runs, and i completely respect that and hope they slay the olympics.

but how henrik, casabon, keefer, ware and the stept kids are skiing is pushing the sport. with innovative shit not only in the park but street and BC all while making it look good. but since the judging in comps gives the bobbys and gus's the higher scores over the henriks and bdogs, that is still gona win the big comps.

it still ultimately comes down to personal opinion of what you thinks looks good, which is why these arguments always pop up in threads about these guys.

but bigger spins and flips both off larger jumps and rails isn't pushing the sport?

no one is going to deny that the skiers you mentioned aren't taking skiing in a different direction, but to say gus, bobby ect aren't "progressing" is fucking stupid thing for you to say.

i said "how" those guys were pushing the sport. i completely agree that they are continuing to progress the sport competition wise. but im SO damn sick of seeing dub 10 mutes.

when i see something like keefs sw dub blunt 10 it blows my mind way more than a dub 16 or trip 14 where it actually starts to resemble ariels. but i will say bobby and gus are not pushing street skiing like the other guys out there, even though they could be. why, maybe to not get hurt during comp season? but i respect the kids that go out into the cities every night and the guys that build booters and hit them all day more than the people who only do comps and park shoots all year.

How are you guys talkign about style then posting a fucking penciled out spin-o-ramma? technically, the kids fucking good, but his style lacks soooooo much. When his arms arn't flailing every where he's got his jump jock mute grab on lock. It's just an idea of skiing im not fond of. to each their own.

i've never particularly liked his style, but its definitely coming along. technically he is fucked up good, and the newer shots i've seen of him have been pretty good.
