With the advent of facebook we have moved from a private life to an almost 100% public life for those who actively partake in the social-networking site. What, in the future, might change the course of how we view our friends in the future and what google plus might do if it actually does blow up.
Really facebook just adds to the feeling that your life is mad hectic because you can keep up with all the shit in other peoples lives as well your own.
The thing is, most people don't discuss the major issues of their social lives over facebook and twitter. That is the reason people still have close personal, best friends. If everyone had every aspect of their entire social life on the internet, then there would be no personal friends and it would die off. But that is my personal thought on that.
But there are the girls that post everything on facebook.... I have them blocked from my news feed.
But this is pretty true. I don't post most of my life on facebook. I use it as a way to share information rather than a way of sharing what is really happening in my life. Most of my posts pertain to things going on in the world or pictures or events happening.
Well as human being who depend on social interactions to survive and thrive we are cheapening all of our vital relationships so that we may have many superficial ones.
